The lucky player purchased the winning ticket at the Palafox Quick Stop convenience store, beating odds of 1 in 376,992 to take the top prize, officials said.

A Dec. 10, 2024, Mega Millions ticket purchased at a Publix in Crystal River, Florida, on the West Coast near Cedar Key, is worth a whopping $5 million.
