Florida’s ball security has generally been good under Napier. The Gators ranked in the top 25 in fewest turnovers in both of Napier’s first two seasons. His worst season (14 turnovers in 2022) matched the best by his predecessor, Dan Mullen. But only 14 teams have lost more turnovers this season than UF (six).

According to USA TODAY Sports, Florida boosters have raised the funds necessary to allow the university to move on from its head football coach, Billy Napier. According to his contract, Napier would receive approximately $26 million in buyout money, 50% of which would be delivered within 30 days if Florida decided to move on from him.
