Almost three months have passed since BioWare finally saw the long-awaited release of its new RPG Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a decade-long project led by game director Corinne Busche.

Even so, it’s clear that the Game Director Corinne Busch is ready to move on from the project and from EA altogether, as she has officially confirmed that she will be leaving the company. As of now, no additional departures from BioWare have been announced, and this doesn’t appear to be part of a wider staffing change.

On Friday, it has been confirmed Corinne Busche, who served as game director of Dragon Age: The Veilguard and worked at EA for nearly two decades, is departing the company. Rumours of Game Director Corinne Busch’s exit were spread on the internet late last evening,

Corinne Busche leaves BioWare and EA after an 18-year career in development on titles that included Sim 3, Sims 4, Tiger Woods, and more. Rumors also circulate that BioWare Edmonton could be in trouble as well.

The Veilguard since February 2022, is departing BioWare. Whispers of her exit began circulating online last night, and were first confirmed by journalist Jeff Grubb. Eurogamer can also confirm Busche will depart BioWare in the coming weeks.
