A popular supermarket chain is expected to open its first location in Maine. ALDI has signed a lease to take over the former Big Lots store in Portland’s Pine Tree Shopping Center on Brighton Avenue.

PORTLAND, Maine (WGME) -- Portland has issued a citywide parking ban from 10 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday. Vehicles left on city streets after 10 p.m. can be towed at the owner’s expense.
