Parking for 10 minutes in the "drop and go" car park will go up from £6 to £7 while the short-stay car park will be £7, up from £6, for 30 minutes. The airport say the increase is because of increased costs associated with the rise in the National Insurance rate for employers.

Bristol Airport is set to increase car park charges. The price for a ten-minute stay in the 'Drop & Go' area will rise from £6 to £7 from March 3, while the 'Short Stay and Pick-Up' car park, located a short walk from the terminal, will also see a rise from £6 to £7 for 30 minutes.

Customers dropping off family and friends, who have a Blue Badge, will continue to be able to use the Drop & Go car park for an extended stay of 40 minutes for £7, on scanning the Blue Badge at the exit barrier. A free one-hour car park is located by the entrance to Silver Zone to the south, and next to it, is a free shuttle bus.

A big talking point on social media has been Bristol Airport increasing their car parking charges for 10-minute drop-offs, which will go up to £7. The short-stay car park will also go up from £6 to £7,
