U2, whose members include Bono and the Edge, committed during the event to donating $1 million to the relief efforts. Steve Ballmer, former Microsoft CEO and current owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, and his wife, Connie, also pledged to match that donation and all donations made during the live broadcast of FireAid.

The Shelli, Irving and Azoff families, in conjunction with Live Nation and AEG Presents, have officially announced the FireAid Benefit Concert, which will raise funds to rebuild the communities devastated by the Los Angeles wildfires and to support efforts to prevent future fire disasters throughout Southern California.

There are a bunch of benefit concerts for the LA wildfires coming up, and FireAid is the biggest. Taking place at both the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum in Inglewood, the event has Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish,

Billie Joe Armstrong and Billie Eilish. Green Day got things started at the Kia Forum, where they surprised fans with Eilish to help them perform, "Last Night on Earth" from 2009's 21st Century Breakdown.

The concert will also be screened live at select AMC Theatres and and Regal Cinema locations in the U.S. If you will be on the move, iHeartRadio, the national audio partner for the event, will also feature the FireAid concert across over 860 radio stations in the U.S., digital platforms, and the iHeartRadio app.

After joining Green Day for their FireAid-opening set at the Kia Forum earlier Thursday night (Jan. 30), Billie Eilish took the stage again at the neighboring Intuit Dome for the benefit concert, this time with her brother Finneas.

FireAid LA brought together a powerhouse lineup at the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome in Inglewood to support relief efforts for the devastating wildfires that have claimed 29 lives and caused billions in damage.
