Donald Trump has broken his silenvce after a meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky at Pope Francis' funeral - and turned on Vladimir Putin. In a rant on his social media platform Truth Social he accused the Russian President on stringing him along.

President Donald Trump took aim at Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday in a Truth Social post about the ongoing war in Ukraine, saying that the Kremlin leader may need to "be dealt with differently.

The office of President Zelensky shared a picture of Trump and Zelensky engaged in conversation at St. Peter’s Basilica.

The White House said their discussion was “very productive” and that more details would be released later. The meeting lasted about 15 minutes inside St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican just before they took their seats for the outdoor funeral service. Zelenskyy said “good meeting” on social media after the funeral.
