Sony has announced two new PlayStation 5 consoles that come with Ghost Of Yōtei, ahead of its launch this autumn.

After an eight-month wait, players can finally get their hands on official PS5 Pro covers. At yesterday’s Ghost of Yotei State of Play, Sony announced that game themed-limited edition Gold face plates (pictured above) will be released for the PS5 Pro along with PS5 Slim.

The Limited Edition Ghost of Yotei PS5 will be available on October 2, 2025, the same day that the game launches for the PS5. The trailer also revealed the return of Kurosawa mode from Ghost of Tsushima, as well as the addition of modes made in collaboration with Takashi Miike and Shinichirō Watanabe.

We all know at this point that Forza Horizon 5 has been a huge success for Xbox on PS5, but this perhaps puts it into perspective a little more - the sales for that game on Sony's console have almost overtaken the 2024 Game of the Year.
