It: Welcome to Derry, the upcoming prequel series to Andy Muschietti 's two Stephen King -based It movies, screened the first 10 minutes during a late-night Saturday panel at Comic-Con. Before introducing the panelists, he asked the crowd of rowdy and devoted fans to clap and cheer for Whitfield, and in turn, the fans erupted in response, celebrating his memory.
Also added for the Aug. 14-16 event: a Tommy Schlamme retrospective, a session on the art of foley from the Emmy-winning foley artist on 'Only Murders in the Building' and more.
At the Comic-Con panel for "Phineas and Ferb," producers Dan Povenmire and Swampy Marsh confirmed the next batch of episodes will premiere in 2026.
