It’s already shaping up to be a harsh winter, and temperatures are dropping below 10 degrees for the first time this season. The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory for the Miami Valley — a new advisory first revealed last October.

On Wednesday at 6:11 p.m. the NWS Fort Worth TX issued an updated winter weather advisory valid from Thursday 6 a.m. until Friday noon. The advisory is for Young, Jack, Stephens, Palo Pinto, Eastland,

"Snow showers have ended across most of the area. A few lingering showers are possible through 11 a.m. but any additional snow accumulation is expected to be light," says the NWS San Diego CA. The advisory is in effect until 10 a.m.

On Monday at 8:24 p.m. an updated winter weather advisory was issued by the NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC. Additional snow accumulations of one to two inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph for Avery County until 6 a.m. Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for several counties in the Wabash Valley from 4 a.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday.

A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for portions of northeastern PA through Thursday morning. Temperatures will be in the teens but strong winds will put wind chills in the single digits, above and below zero.

For the third consecutive night, temperatures will plummet into the 20s and low 30s with wind chills below 25 degrees in portions of south central and southwest
