Grammy-winning musician Lil Nas X pleaded not guilty on Monday to four felony charges after authorities said he assaulted police officers who found him walking naked down a street in Los Angeles.

The musician, whose legal name is Montero Lamar Hill, pleaded not guilty in a court appearance to three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer, the district attorney’s office said.

Lil Nas X has been charged with three felony counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one felony count of resisting arrest after he was arrested last week on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City.
