Kelce was paying homage to former Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez, who did that celebration after scoring a touchdown back in the days when it wasn’t illegal in the NFL.

A few weeks ago, Gonzalez and the Amazon Prime crew discussed the possibility of Kelce breaking his Kansas City record. In hopes of Kelce pulling out his dunk celebration on the record-breaker, Gonzalez offered to pay for the former Cincinnati Bearcats star's potential fine. "If he dunks it, I will pay that fine," Gonzalez said on Black Friday.
