Charges accuse a St. Paul man of fleeing the police, firing at an officer with a stolen gun, possessing cocaine and refusing impairment tests once the whole affair was finished.

The Ramsey County Attorney’s Office charged a man with second degree attempted murder Wednesday after he allegedly fired a rifle multiple times at a St. Paul police officer earlier this week.

A 80-year-old woman has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a man in his 80s was hurt at a property on the Isle of Wight. The man suffered injuries that were not life-threatening when he was assaulted at a property in Manor Crescent, Newport, early on Wednesday, police said.
