Alabama nursing student Abbie Stockard, whose boyfriend is Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler, was crowned the 97th Miss America.

Utah Jazz player Walker Kessler had the sweetest reaction when his girlfriend Abbie Stockard won the Miss America pageant on Sunday, Dec. 5.

His girlfriend, Abbie Stockard, was in the pageant as Miss Alabama. At the end of the night, she was crowned Miss America. Kessler was streaming the event on his phone with his head coach, Will Hardy, and was overjoyed when he saw that Stockard won the title.
