She is a director of E Oldroyd & Sons, is one of the nine family owned business based in the nine sq mile area found between Leeds, Wakefield and Bradford known as the rhubarb triangle.

Production of the crop has expanded beyond the 'rhubarb triangle' around Wakefield, Morley and Rothwell in West Yorkshire, with its popularity encouraging more producers to grow it.

Yorkshire is well known for the famous Rhubarb Triangle, situated between Leeds, Wakefield and Bradford. In 1877, rhubarb began to be grown in Yorkshire.

Yet inside the forcing sheds of the rhubarb triangle, a nine-square-mile area between Morley, Wakefield and Rothwell, it’s warm.
