Ole Miss transfer pitcher Liam Doyle (1-0) started for the Vols. He recorded a win in his debut at Tennessee. Doyle pitched 5.0 innings and recorded 11 strikeouts. He did not allow a run or a walk, while surrendering one hit against 15 batters. Doyle totaled 52 pitches (42 strikes) against the Pride.
