VICTORIA, Australia (WJW) – Spectators watched Friday as a pilot crashed to the ground during an air show. It happened during an aerial demonstration at the Avalon Australian International Airshow.

“The aircraft was conducting and aerobatic maneuver and hit the ground. The pilot is in a serious but stable condition and has been transferred to hospital for treatment," the statement continued.
