Microsoft Might Rebrand Its AI into Windows Intelligence for New Era
After using the name "Copilot" for over a year to identify its suite of AI-driven tools and assistants, it appears Microsoft is testing a fresh brand concept.
I'm not sure why Microsoft waited this long to add this Windows 11 feature, but the option is finally on the way
Microsoft rolled out a pair of Windows 11 Insider builds recently. Windows 11 Build 22635.4445 shipped to Insiders in the Beta Channel while Build 26120.2222 was released to Dev Channel Insiders. The updates are relatively minor and include changes such as adding a new folder option within the context menu and the ability to launch a program as an admin through a new shortcut in a jump list in Start.
Microsoft Delays Windows 11 AI 'Recall' Feature to December
Processors can handle Recall if they have neural processing units (NPUs) and can hit 40 TOPS (trillion operations per second). Meteor Lake CPUs have NPUs but don’t qualify for Recall. Since June, many new PCs that support Recall feature Microsoft’s Copilot+ branding. Many of the first CoPilot+ PCs sported Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X chips.
