It's a sad day for fans of iconic surf and skate wear. Three popular clothing brands, Quiksilver, Billabong, and Volcom, are permanently closing all of their U.S. stores in the coming weeks, according to new reports.

A trio of once popular clothing brands will shutter all remaining stores after their operator, Liberated Brands, filed for bankruptcy, according to CNN. More than 100 Billabong, Quiksilver and Volcom locations will close in the coming weeks as part of the bankruptcy proceedings.

According to The Los Angeles Times, California-based parent company Liberated Brands filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and will shut down 124 stores across the country. As Quiksilver and Billabong are both Australian brands, they will continue to operate stores outside the United States.
