DONAHUE, Iowa — Iowa farmers met with Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, on Wednesday, hoping to learn what’s being done in Washington to support the state’s struggling agriculture industry.

Dry corn can last for years when stored properly. John Maxwell, the owner of the farm, said farmers won’t be able to wait too long. “H-U-R-T, hurt, in the agriculture community,” said Grassley.
