Memphis was a popular potential trade landing spot for Butler when talks of him requesting a trade materialized over the past month. However, a source indicated to The Commercial Appeal that the Grizzlies were not heavily involved in talks for Butler after an initial report indicated the Heat star had no interest in Memphis.
