Responding to the canceled concert of Dua Lipa in Jakarta, Special Envoy of the President for Tourism, Zita Anjani expressed deep concern.

Dua Lipa has announced the cancellation of a concert scheduled for this Saturday evening in Jakarta, Indonesia, telling fans the decision “truly pains” her. The English/Albanian singer was due to perform as part of the Asian leg of her global tour for her third album Radical Optimism.

Dua Lipa was forced to cancel a gig on Saturday (09.11.24) due to safety concerns. The 'Levitating' hitmaker had arrived in Indonesia for her 'Radical Optimism' show at the Indonesia Arena in Jakarta but was left "gutted" when she was advised the performance couldn't go ahead because of problems with the staging.

Dua Lipa recently had to make a difficult decision about her scheduled concert. Renowned "Don't Start Now" artist Dua Lipa sounded apparently perturbed when she cancelled her November 9 concert in Jakarta,

Dua Lipa announced she was forced to pull the plug on her performance in Jakarta over safety concerns. “I am here in your amazing country and ready to perform,” she wrote. “But I am gutted to share that it has been determined that it is not safe for the performance to carry on due to safety issues with the staging.

Dua Lipa is currently on her tour for her new album Radical Optimism, which was snubbed from the 2025 Grammys. However, the pop star has canceled tonight’s show in Jakarta due to “safety issues with the staging.
