NWS: EF1 tornado touched down in Halifax County Thursday

The National Weather Service’s survey team out of Blacksburg indicated that an EF1 tornado touched down in Halifax County on Thursday. According to NWS, the tornado touched down at 4:51 p.m., west of Cherry Hill Church Road.
