Police are investigating an overnight street takeover in North Haven on Saturday that injured two spectators. Officers responded to Montowese Avenue at the intersection with the Interstate 91 North off-ramps around 2 a.m. on Saturday for the report of a pedestrian struck during a street takeover, according to the North Haven Police Department.

Deputy Police Chief Andrew Stavrides said the street takeover took place near the I-91 exit ramp on North Haven's Montowese Avenue at about 2 a.m. Saturday.
