Some X users on Wednesday asked Grok – the AI chatbot available through Elon Musk’s social media platform – questions about simple topics like baseball players or videos of fish being flushed down toilets.

Users who replied to images of women and requested that Grok “remove her clothes” received an in-thread reply with an image of the woman in lingerie or a bikini. Occasionally, Grok replied with a link to a separate chat containing the image.

Grok seems to have been programmed to defend claims of white genocide in South Africa. Now it’s all it can talk about.
