Edison International said the deadly Eaton fire near Pasadena started in its service area and the utility-owner is conducting a review of the event, as blazes scorch vast areas of Los Angeles.
Edison International Chief Executive Officer Pedro Pizarro said the utility did not detect any electrical issues on a transmission line near the start of the deadly Eaton fire in the Los Angeles area.
