Anthony Richardson is ready to be a sponge as he absorbs it all from his new teammate and competition, ex-Giants quarterback Daniel Jones.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson told reporters Tuesday that he's ready for a "competition" for the team's QB1 role with signal-caller Daniel Jones, who signed a one-year, $14 million deal this offseason.

Daniel Jones was signed as a free agent to compete with 2023 first-round pick Anthony Richardson because Richardson's first two years have featured more inconsistent play and injuries than the team would like to see.
