Mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain expected Saturday in the DC area

Overcast skies are expected to roll in starting around 9 a.m. Saturday, as snow showers start south of Interstate 66.

Accumulations will be less than an inch of snow or sleet. There may be an icy glaze on trees, cars and powerlines. Treated roads will mainly be wet. A Winter Weather Advisory is in place Saturday for most the D.C. area.
