The official NFL draft order is set at the top with the playoff teams still waiting to see their spots. The Tennessee Titans have the top overall pick followed by the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants. The New England Patriots, Jacksonville Jaguars and Las Vegas Raiders are slated at Nos. 3-6.

In the latest mock draft from The Athletic, Dane Brugler has him dropping all the way to the Las Vegas Raiders at No. 6, which would make sense for the franchise that needs a QB. Here’s his take on the drop:

New York has been connected to the Colorado quarterback, and has been doing its due diligence on him for a long time according to a New York insider.

NFL Draft order is set and the Giants are locked into the third pick but it appears they were prepared to draft Sheduer Sanders in the 2024 NFL Draft. Per a report by Connor Hughes of SNY, the Giants conducted thorough scouting of Sanders and were prepared to pick him.

According to Connor Hughes, the Giants did homework on Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders last year and had a completed scouting report in case he had declared for the draft. Hughes said Sanders would have been a target for New York in the second or third round.
