The Cincinnati Bengals announced they signed quarterback Brett Rypien to their practice squad, one day after releasing former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Desmond Ridder. Ridder's departure left the Bengals with two QBs on their depth chart: starter Joe Burrow and backup Jake Browning.

The Cincinnati Bengals will bring back at least two of the key losses during final cuts to meet the NFL’s deadline. According to WLWT’s Charlie Clifford, the Bengals plan to add both wideout Isaiah Williams and linebacker Maema Njongmeta back on the practice squad.
