A pass rush in need of a boost got some positive news Tuesday when the Chicago Bears opened the return-to-practice window for defensive end Austin Booker. Booker, a fifth-round pick in 2024, rejoined his teammates for a short practice that is an extra day of preparation for Monday’s game against the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium.
Grady Jarrett missed every practice this week and is out for Monday's game but the Bears could have an answer for their struggling pass rush.
Bears interest in signing another edge rusher will be at a heightened level in the next few days after the move they had to make. They had to put edge rusher Austin Booker on injured reserve Thursday and he'll miss at least four weeks due to a knee injury.
