After rallying up lawmakers and community support, Brownfield says this fire station will be home to the first baby box in the state. "All of us hope that that box never gets used," Brownfield said.

The baby box locks from the outside and is climate controlled. It also has a camera inside which sends live video to firefighters cell phones. The original two-bay station was built in 1960.
