On Tuesday, OpenAI, SoftBank, Oracle, and MGX announced plans to form Stargate, a new company that will invest $500 billion in AI computing infrastructure across the United States over four years. The announcement came during a White House meeting with President Donald Trump, who called it the "largest AI infrastructure project in history."

The project, which will be financially led by SoftBank and operationally by OpenAI, will see an immediate investment of $100 billion. Masayoshi Son will be the chairman of the company.

Stargate, the joint venture by OpenAI, SoftBank and Oracle to develop data centers for artificial intelligence in the U.S., will exclusively serve ChatGPT maker OpenAI, the Financial Times reported on Thursday.

It can also ask follow-up questions to further personalize the tasks it completes, such as login information for other websites. Users can take control of the screen at any time.
