A Michigan prosecutor filed a terrorism charge Monday against a man accused of stabbing 11 people at a Walmart store.

“Eleven is 11 too many, but thank God it wasn’t more,” Sheriff Michael Shea told reporters.

A 42-year-old man entered the Traverse City Walmart around 4:43 p.m. on Saturday and used a folding knife to stab five males and six females, according to the Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office.

Police continue to search for a motive after a mass stabbing attack at a Walmart in Traverse City, Michigan, on Saturday that injured 11 people.

The suspect has been identified as 42-year-old Bradford James Gille, of Afton, Michigan.
