The Daily Show ’s Jon Stewart, who recently called Paramount Global’s settlement with President Donald Trump “shameful”, has weighed in on the future of the late-night show.

In a ceremony outside the White House at the time, Trump called Powell “strong,” “committed” and “smart” (comments which conflict with his current description of the Fed chair as a “ stupid person ,” a “ numbskull ” and a “ stiff ”).

Wednesday's installment of "The Daily Show" took aim at President Trump's Truth Social posts breaking up with his frustrated MAGA voters.
