Teddy Bridgewater is returning to the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after he agreed to a one-year deal on Tuesday. The Buccaneers are the eighth team in 12 seasons for the 32-year-old Bridgewater.

Mayfield, the first overall pick in 2018, has enjoyed a career renaissance with the Buccaneers after signing with the team in 2023. He was awarded a three-year contract extension worth $100 million the following offseason after making the playoffs in his first season in Tampa.
