There's been a fire at a building on the Sikorsky Memorial Airport campus on Great Meadow Road in Stratford. Bridgeport Fire says they helped stratford crews around 6:30 a.m. Friday, as a fire fully engulfed an old civil air patrol building.

Firefighters responded to Sikorsky Memorial Airport at 6:30 a.m. on the report of a structure fire and found that the blaze was fully involved fire at a 1 ½ story building, according to Shawnna White, press secretary for the City of Bridgeport. White said the structure was an old Civil Air Patrol building.
