The Austin Police Department is responding to a barricaded subject in southeast Austin. APD said on social media around 5 p.m. that APD SWAT responded to the call at 2239 Cromwell Circle, which is near East Riverside Drive and South Pleasant Valley Road.

After a three-yearlong investigation, Mithovar Christopher Antoine Jr., 22, was arrested for the homicide of Nikolas Eugenio Martinez, 23.

A man was arrested in connection to a series of crimes conducted at a home in East Austin, the Austin Police Department said.

AUSTIN, Texas - A suspect is now in custody following an hours-long SWAT standoff in Southeast Austin. Austin police said around 3 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 20, officers with the fugitive apprehension task force attempted to serve a warrant on a suspect with multiple felony warrants at an apartment complex in the 2200 block of Cromwell Circle.
