New Japan Pro-Wrestling presented NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 from the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. In the main event, Zack Sabre Jr. defended the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Shota Umino. The show featured multiple title changes.

El Phantasmo won the NJPW World TV Championship at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19, defeating Ren Narita, Jeff Cobb, and Ryohei Oiwa in a four-way match. The finish saw ELP break up Cobb's pin attempt on Narita, and then hit Thunder Kiss 86 on Narita to score the victory for himself.

NJPW is officially retiring the KOPW Championship and Great O'Khan will go down in history as the official champion of 2024.

Konosuke Takeshita won the NEVER Openweight Championship at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19, defeating Shingo Takagi. Takeshita picked up the victory with a roaring elbow followed by the Raging Fire. Takeshita remains the AEW International Champion. He will defend both titles against Tomohiro Ishii at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th.
