Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Sunday that running back MarShawn Lloyd will be sidelined for a bit after a preseason injury.

Another group of the NFL's "Top 100" players has been released as the regular season rushes closer and Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is ranked the 33rd best player in the league.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur said NFL data shows that players who take part in the preseason fare better with injuries early in the regular season.

RB Josh Jacobs joined QB Jordan Love and DE Rashan Gary as the third Packers player on the "NFL Top 100 Players" list for 2025. Jacobs comes in at No. 33.

Nominations for NFL Fan of the Year can be made until Sept. 29. Each franchise will choose a finalist. One of the 32 nominees will be chosen as league winner during Super Bowl LX week. Each finalist receives a trip to the Super Bowl and other prizes and experiences leading up to the game.

With that in mind, a former Green Bay quarterback has spoken out and thrown a lot of shade at the coaching staff. Kurt Benkert, who spent some time with the Packers and was a fan favorite, took to social media to share his sharp opinion about Green Bay. He has not liked what he has seen thus far during the team's two preseason games.
