Dozens of beaches in Massachusetts are closed this weekend, just as summer temperatures rebound following a cooler week.

As summer comes to a close, we still have time to soak up the last of the season's sunshine and splendor with an afternoon at one of the best state park beaches in Massachusetts.

Several beaches in Massachusetts are closed on Sunday. In total, 57 beaches are closed, most of them due to high levels of bacteria in the water, according to the state’s Department of Public Health (DPH).
