Minnesota Lynx star and WNBA MVP frontrunner Napheesa Collier left Saturday's road game against the Las Vegas Aces late in the third quarter with a right ankle injury.

The Minnesota Lynx lost superstar forward and 2025 WNBA MVP favorite Napheesa Collier to an ankle injury on the road against the Las Vegas Aces on Saturday afternoon. While the Lynx were up 92-49 over the Aces late in the third quarter, Collier fell to the court and needed assistance to get up and leave the game.

As time wound down in the third quarter, the Lynx were out on a fastbreak looking to extend their 43-point lead. Natisha Hiedeman went up for a layup that did not go down, and Collier stepped on Alanna Smith's foot while trailing the play. Collier's ankle rolled severely and she immediately collapsed to the ground.
