Firefighters have made significant progress on a wildfire burning in northern Colorado, and some evacuation orders were lifted.The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday night that the Pearl Fire was now 25 percent contained - 20 percent more than Wednesday.

Firefighting crews gained 25% containment on the Pearl fire burning west of Fort Collins on Thursday as Larimer County officials lifted more mandatory and voluntary evacuations.

DENVER ( KDVR) — The Pearl Fire burning in northern Larimer County near Crystal Lakes is now 25% contained. The fire sparked on Monday and was deemed human-caused after officials found the fire started on private property.
