The search for those swept into deadly floods in central Texas continued Sunday as the death toll climbed. At least 43 people, including 15 children, died in Kerr County, Texas, after the area saw nearly a foot of rain Friday.

As the floodwaters recede from Camp Mystic, a torrent of grief remains for the families of the children who died and those who went missing when flash floods tore through central Texas earlier this week.

The grueling search for 27 missing girls stretched into a third day on Sunday. Survivors told terrifying stories of being swept away and clinging to trees as rampaging floodwaters carried trees and cars past them.
