PHILADELPHIA — Tom Thibodeau wants Josh Hart to consider his words. In the wake of Hart twice calling for his team to drop “egos” and “individual agendas” after recent losses, the coach said he was unaware of the comments but urged his player to study film before making such assessments.

The last thing the Knicks need is locker room drama. Though it may not feel like it, New York is actually on a better pace than they were at this time last year. They are 26-15 through the first half of the season compared to being 24-17 through the first half of last season.

Thibodeau and the Knicks have sent a brutal message to Hart following his "ego"comments. And while it can simply be chalked up as a harmless little comment from an outspoken player, New York has made it clear they expect more from one of their leaders.
