Sportschosun on MSNSuper awesome! Chelsea savior Ronaldo's rare Muktu Felix, Al Nasr transfer → Check out the BBC...O...Felix will move to Saudi Arabia's Al Nasr, where Cristiano Ronaldo is located. Britain's BBC reported on the 28th (Korea time) that Al Nasr has agreed to a transfer fee worth up to 43.7 million pounds (about 80 billion won) with Chelsea to recruit Felix.
Joao Felix is on the verge of leaving Chelsea after a deal was agreed with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr. The 25-year-old only returned to Chelsea last summer on a permanent basis from Atletico Madrid in a deal worth around £45m. It was part of the agreement to allow Atletico to land the signing of Conor Gallagher, who departed the Blues for £33m.
Félix’s agent Jorge Mendes was thought to be working hard on a deal to bring the player back to Estadio da Luz, six years after leaving Estádio da Luz for Atletico Madrid in a stunning €126m transfer. However, according to Romano, there were conversations between Félix and Portugal captain Ronaldo as Al Nassr moved in.
João Félix has had a rollercoaster journey since leaving Benfica. He went through Atlético de Madrid, then Chelsea, and most recently Barcelona, where he played on loan last season. Although he has shown glimpses of his quality, he has not managed to fully establish himself as expected after his breakout in Lisbon.
Fabrizio Romano reports the deal includes "add-ons and heavy sell-on clause" in order to meet Chelsea's valuation. The Stamford Bridge club had slapped a €50m price-tag on the 24-year-old.
