The national average price for a gallon of regular gas on Thursday is $3.103, according to AAA. In the last days of the Biden administration, a gallon of regular gas is more expensive than a year ago when it was $3.

The average fuel price in state has fallen about 5 cents since last month. According to the EIA, gas prices across the state in the last year have been as low as $2.93 on Jan. 22, 2024, and as high as $3.54 on May 6, 2024. A year ago, the average gas price in Florida was 0% lower at $3.03 per gallon.
