Steeped in patriotism and small town charm, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea celebrates the nation's independence with its annual Fourth of July Parade and Family Fun Day. The day long celebration features a festive parade, family-friendly activities and a beachfront fireworks display.

July Fourth is going to be our nicest day weather-wise this entire week. High temperatures will be just about average for this time of year with very low humidity.

Over 70% of some 140 people who responded to The Times’ question: “Do you prefer fireworks or a drone show for the Fourth of July?” said they preferred drones.
