OpenAI teams up with UAE’s G42 to build one of the world’s largest AI data centers in Abu Dhabi, marking its first major project outside the US.

OpenAI said it’s helping to develop a major data center in the United Arab Emirates, a big overseas expansion of its Stargate effort to build out AI infrastructure.

Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO) announced it would join technology giants, including Nvidia, OpenAI, and Oracle, to build a sweeping AI campus in the UAE under the Stargate project announced during President Trump’s recent visit to the country.
