An 83-year-old Brewton man was killed this morning in a single-vehicle accident in Escambia County, according to a release from Florida Highway Patrol. His passenger, a 62-year-old Brewton woman, was also critically injured.

An Alabama woman has died after her vehicle struck a horse in Coosa County. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 63-year-old Janice W. Bullard, of Talladega, was killed Tuesday, Jan 14 after a vehicle she was in hit a horse that was standing in the roadway on U.

One person was injured when a cement truck and a train collided Thursday in Shelby County. The crash happened about 10 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 47 and County Road 443 in Chelsea. Chelsea Fire and Rescue, Shelby County sheriff’s deputies and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.

An 18-year-old man from Alpine died and two other people were injured in a crash involving three separate vehicles in East County late Monday afternoon.
